She drove it to work today, which was the first time she has driven it.
“It’s fast,” she says. “It really wants to get up and go. It’s really fun.”
That about says it. Also, I saw this bike at the cardiologist today.

My wife doesn't care about cars at all, but she drove my GLI a while back and since then she keeps finding more excuses to drive it. I like to encourage her!

The bike would be much better without the red head...
If my Beloved came back spouting that sort of nonsense I would have said ‘you were only supposed to drive it to and from work...and I know there's no racetrack between there and here!! ’.

Since we didn’t replace my wife’s Explorer and I have a rental for work, my wife has been driving my WRX for about a year now. The only thing she doesn’t like is how loud it is. She was spoiled by her Explorer and now anything louder is just too loud.

Ha that’s how it starts. Back in 2008 I let my wife drive my beautiful then new manual 06 Mazda3 because our POS 03 Honda was having weird engine problems. This lead to purchase of our first MINI which she agreed must be had in manual.

My wife drove my 2016 GTI for a day when I took her van to have t h e snow tires changed a couple years ago. Her thoughts pretty much mirrored Mrs IM’s. My son said it was scary how fast she went, apparently the gas pedal was more of an on/off switch for her. That GTI had a JB4 tune on it, so I bet that was pretty damn dramatic.
